I hit a big milestone this weekend. I’m down 75 pounds. When I started at the end of last July, my goal was to drop 100 pounds. I didn’t set a timeline, but I was hoping to lose at least 1-2 pounds a week. I wanted to make it a realistic pace. I didn’t want to […]

Set ’em up and knock ’em down.

5k #4. Only 2 more till the 10k training starts.
This was my forth 5k. My goal was under 35:00 and I did it in 33:03! For the next one I’m going to shoot for under 30:00. I don’t think I could have made it if my girls weren’t waiting for me at the finish line. They kept me motivated the whole time.
Third 5k. 1/2 way there.
The 5k times are posted. 36:39! I know that might seem slow to some, but that’s almost a full minute faster than my goal of 37:30. To top it off, I finished in the top 1/2 of the field. Onwards and upwards. My next one is not scheduled till May. I’m hoping to cut at […]

My first 5k!
Yesterday I ran my first 5K! When I started training in July, my 5k time was 1:12:00. I was hoping to finish under 45:00, and my official time was 42:18! I’m so thankful to my loving wife for supporting me through it all, and thanks to the #TritonDigital lunch time running crew for pushing me to […]
